NJ SEED 2010 Annual Awards: Call For Nominations

Arthur T. Young Outstanding Legislator Awards,
presented in memory of NJ SEED Past President and Founder Art Young to
recognize New Jersey Legislators who have worked to improve our business
climate, enhance our environment and encourage government programs that
produce private-sector jobs. (This award may be presented to up to two
Assembly members and two Senators – one Republican and one Democrat from
each house) Peter F. Smith Labor Leader Award, presented in memory of former NJ SEED President Pete Smith to those who have made significant contributions to New Jersey's labor movement and economic vitality consistent with the goals of NJ SEED. Lewis R. Applegate Business Leader Award, named for NJ SEED founding member Lew Applegate, is presented to business leaders who have made significant contributions to the enactment of balanced and rational public policies that create jobs and enhance our environment. John H. Maddocks Lifetime Achievement Award, given in memory of NJ SEED Past President and founding member John Maddocks, this award is reserved for those whose careers have been dedicated to preserving and improving New Jersey's environment and economy while considering the impact of public policies on working men and women. All NJ SEED members are invited to nominate individuals for any or all awards. Winners will be determined by the Executive Committee.
